FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (FAQ'S)
1. How does one save when dining out popular restaurants? We've created an employee benefit that save employees 25% or more at many fabulous restaurants. Use Dining Certificates just like cash to pay for food or beverages, including alcoholic drinks. Tax and tip are not included and must be paid in cash.
2. What discounts are offered with Dining Certificates? You save 25% or more by purchasing Dining Certificates in advance. For example, $200 worth of Dining Certificate lets you buy $200 worth of food and beverages but you pay only $150. You save $50. In many restaurants today, dinner for two may run as high as $200 or more. Certificates come in different denominations, depending on the restaurant selected.
3. What restaurants are available? Many of the better, more popular, restaurants in San Diego County are available in this special program, offering great dining at a discount. These restaurants usually are not part of other discount programs because they are so popular. Our program is often the only one with saving for dining at these wonderful establishments.
4. Are Dining Certificates guaranteed? Dining Certificates are fully guaranteed.
5. Are Dining Certificates continually available? No, the supply of Dining Certificates to any specific restaurant is limited. When sold, they will not be available again for possibly as long as six months. However, there are many excellent restaurants participating in the Program and alternate selections can be very satisfying.
6. Are Dining Certificates limited or do they expire? Yes, some (but not all) Dining Certificates are limited or expire. If any limitations or conditions apply, they are usually printed on the face of the Certificate. Most Certificates cannot be used on certain holidays, like Christmas. Also, some Certificates have expiration dates printed on their face. These Certificates are usually not sold unless there is at least one month until they expire. It is important be aware of any expiration dates, because Certificates cannot be replaced once they expire. Similarly, Certificates cannot be replaced if they are lost or stolen
7. What do I do if the bill is less than the value of the Dining Certificates? Usually, no change is given on a Dining Certificate. For greatest convenience, plan to spend the full value of the Certificates or just a little bit more.
8. Do I have to tell the restaurant I intend to pay with Dining Certificates? No, there is no need to tell in advance that you plan to pay with Dining Certificates. However, if you have a large party or plan to spend more than $600, it is a common courtesy to let the restaurant know when you make the reservation.
9. What can I do if my company does not yet participate in this program? Please continue to register and to provide the contact information about your company. We will be in touch with your company to set up the program and will contact you by email as soon as it is available.
10. When do I have to order for this coming weekend? All orders received by 5 pm on Tuesday of each week are shipped for delivery on Friday. So, plan a few days ahead for your weekend dining and save 25% or more. Orders are shipped to the billing address on your credit card.
